  • 1/4 cup pizza sauce (more or less, to taste)
  • 4 slices Canadian bacon
  • 4 pineapple rings (canned or fresh, patted dry)
  • 4 slices Cheddar cheese (or your favorite melting cheese)

Instructions

  1. Start by buttering one side of each slice of bread, creating a golden brown crust that’s unforgettable.
  2. Pat dry the pineapple rings. This crucial step prevents excess moisture from making your sandwich soggy.
  3. Preheat a griddle or skillet over medium heat—let it get nice and warm while you prepare your sandwich.
  4. Place one slice of bread, butter-side down, onto the hot griddle.
  5. Spread about 2 tablespoons of pizza sauce on the unbuttered side of the bread.
  6. Layer with 2 slices of Canadian bacon, followed by 2 pineapple rings, and top with 2 slices of cheese.
