Description

A moist and airy cake topped with whipped cream and vanilla, offering a gentle sweetness that captures the heart.


Ingredients

  • 200g All-Purpose Flour
  • 150g Sugar
  • 100g Unsalted Butter, softened
  • 3 Eggs
  • 300ml Whipping Cream
  • 1 tsp Baking Powder
  • Vanilla Extract to Taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
  2. Cream the butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
  3. Incorporate the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each.
  4. Sift the flour and baking powder into the mixture and gently fold until just combined.
  5. Pour the batter into a greased baking tin and bake for 25-30 minutes.
  6. Cool the cake in the tin for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack.
  7. Whip the cream with vanilla until stiff peaks form.
  8. Spread the whipped cream on top of the cooled cake and serve.

Notes

This cake can be made in advance; add whipped cream just before serving for freshness.
