Description

A crowd-pleaser appetizer combining spicy jalapenos, creamy cheese, and smoky sausage wrapped in flaky crescent dough.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package Smoky Sausage Links
  • 23 Jalapeno Peppers, diced
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese, shredded
  • 8 oz Cream Cheese, softened
  • 1 package Crescent Dough

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven according to the crescent dough package instructions, usually around 375°F (190°C).
  2. Mix together softened cream cheese, diced jalapenos, and shredded cheddar cheese until smooth and well-combined in a medium bowl.
  3. Roll out the refrigerated crescent dough on a clean surface and cut it into triangles.
  4. Place a smoky sausage link at the broader end of each triangle and top with a generous spoonful of the cream cheese mixture.
  5. Carefully roll the dough around the filling, tucking it snugly, and place each wrapped pig on a lined baking sheet, seam side down.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown and crispy, about 12-15 minutes.
  7. Allow to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Make-ahead tip: Prepare the cream cheese filling a day earlier and store it in the fridge. Use an air fryer at 380°F for a healthier option.
