- 200 g Sugar
- 1 Sachet Vanilla Sugar
- 5 Eggs
- 100 ml Milk
- 250 g Flour
- 2 tsp Baking Powder
- A Pinch of Salt
- 3 tbsp Cocoa Powder
- 200 g Dark Chocolate (for the glaze)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease your Gugelhupf pan.
- Cream the butter, sugar, and vanilla sugar until light and fluffy.
- Incorporate the eggs one at a time, blending them well.
- Add the milk and mix until smooth.
- Combine dry ingredients in a separate bowl, then fold into the wet mix carefully.
- Layer half the vanilla batter in the pan, followed by cocoa batter, then swirl.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Prepare the glaze by melting dark chocolate, then drizzle it over the cooled cake.
