Description

A delightful marble cake with rich chocolate and sweet vanilla flavors, perfect for gatherings or a cozy afternoon indulgence.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 250 g Soft Butter
  • 200 g Sugar
  • 1 Sachet Vanilla Sugar
  • 5 Eggs
  • 100 ml Milk
  • 250 g Flour
  • 2 tsp Baking Powder
  • A Pinch of Salt
  • 3 tbsp Cocoa Powder
  • 200 g Dark Chocolate (for the glaze)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease your Gugelhupf pan.
  2. Cream the butter, sugar, and vanilla sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Incorporate the eggs one at a time, blending them well.
  4. Add the milk and mix until smooth.
  5. Combine dry ingredients in a separate bowl, then fold into the wet mix carefully.
  6. Layer half the vanilla batter in the pan, followed by cocoa batter, then swirl.
  7. Bake for 45-50 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
  8. Prepare the glaze by melting dark chocolate, then drizzle it over the cooled cake.
