Description

Tangy and creamy Key Lime Pie Bars with a crunchy graham cracker crust, perfect for any occasion.


Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 cup freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon lime zest
  • 2 large egg yolks
  • Whipped cream (for topping)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar in a bowl. Press this mixture into a greased baking dish.
  3. Whisk sweetened condensed milk, lime juice, lime zest, and egg yolks in another bowl until smooth.
  4. Pour the lime mixture evenly over the prepared crust.
  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes until the filling is set with a slight jiggle in the center.
  6. Cool at room temperature, then refrigerate for at least 2 hours before cutting.
  7. Top each bar with a generous dollop of whipped cream before serving.

Notes

Use fresh lime juice for the best flavor. Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days.
