Delightful soft and fluffy rolls filled with blueberries and a zesty lemon glaze.
Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1 cup blueberries
- Zest of 1 lemon
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1–2 tablespoons lemon juice for the glaze
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Mix dry ingredients in a large bowl: flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
- Incorporate butter until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Add milk and lemon zest, stirring until just combined.
- Fold in blueberries gently to avoid bursting them.
- Prepare the dough on a floured surface, kneading gently.
- Form the dough into a rectangle about 1/2 inch thick.
- Roll the dough tightly into a log and slice into 12 equal pieces.
- Place the rolls cut-side up in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
- Make the glaze by whisking powdered sugar with lemon juice.
- Glaze the warm rolls generously and serve.
Notes
Store leftover rolls in an airtight container for up to three days or freeze for longer preservation. Reheat frozen rolls in a preheated oven at 350°F for about 10-15 minutes.
