Description

Deliciously nostalgic Malted Milk Cookie Bars featuring a chewy center, crispy edges, and rich malt flavor.


Ingredients

  • 1 box yellow or white cake mix
  • 1/2 cup melted butter
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup crushed malted milk balls
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips (optional)
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking pan.
  2. Combine the cake mix, melted butter, and eggs in a large mixing bowl until fully mixed.
  3. Stir in the crushed malted milk balls, chocolate chips, nuts, and vanilla extract.
  4. Spread the batter evenly in the prepared baking pan.
  5. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. Cool completely in the pan before slicing into bars.

Notes
