Description
Deliciously addictive Maryland Crab Fries topped with sweet lump crab meat and served with a creamy crab dip, perfect for gatherings.

- 4 medium russet potatoes (about 1.5 lbs)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp Old Bay seasoning (plus extra for garnish)
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1 cup lump crab meat (fresh or canned)
- 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 tsp Old Bay seasoning
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
- Lemon wedges (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Wash and peel the russet potatoes. Cut them into fries about 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick.
- Pat the fries dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
- Toss the cut fries with olive oil, Old Bay seasoning, garlic powder, and black pepper until well coated.
- Spread the fries evenly on a prepared baking sheet in a single layer.
- Bake for about 30-35 minutes, turning halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
- Beat the cream cheese until smooth in a mixing bowl.
- Add in mayonnaise, sour cream, cheddar cheese, lump crab meat, Old Bay seasoning, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, and minced garlic.
- Mix until all ingredients are well combined and creamy.
- Serve the fries on a large platter and spoon the cheesy crab dip over the fries.
- Garnish with chopped parsley, sprinkles of Old Bay seasoning, and lemon wedges.
Notes
Make the crab dip a day in advance for convenience. Use an air fryer as an alternative for crispy fries.
