- 1 cup unsweetened chocolate, melted
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 cup mini chocolate chips
- 1 cup powdered sugar (for dusting)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease your 9×13-inch baking pan with butter or line it with parchment paper.
- Combine the unsweetened chocolate and butter in a large bowl until melted and smooth. Allow to cool slightly.
- Mix both sugars into the chocolate mixture, beating well, then add the eggs one at a time, followed by the vanilla extract.
- Blend the cinnamon and cayenne pepper in a separate bowl and mix into the batter until combined.
- Add mini chocolate chips, folding them gently into the mixture.
- Transfer the batter into your prepared baking pan, smoothing the top with a spatula.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, checking with a toothpick for doneness.
- Cool the brownies completely and dust with powdered sugar before cutting into 24 squares.
Notes
