Description

Ingredients

  • 1 pound sausage (Italian or your choice)
  • 1 cup rice (long grain or jasmine)
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 bell pepper (chopped)
  • 1 onion (chopped)
  • 1 cup frozen peas
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil (for cooking)

Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Sauté the onion and bell pepper until softened, about 5 minutes.
  3. Add the minced garlic and sauté for another minute.
  4. Brown the sausage until nicely browned.
