Description

Oreo Truffles Valentine’s Hearts are delightful no-bake treats made with crushed Oreos and cream cheese, coated in chocolate and shaped into heart forms, perfect for celebrating love.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package Oreo cookies (about 36 cookies)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 16 oz chocolate (dark or white, for coating)
  • Sprinkles or edible glitter (optional, for decoration)

Instructions

  1. Crush the Oreo cookies into fine crumbs using a food processor or by placing them in a zip-top bag and crushing with a rolling pin.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed Oreos with the softened cream cheese until well blended.
  3. Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to make it easier to handle.
  4. Once chilled, scoop out small portions of the mixture and roll them into balls or shape them into hearts.
  5. Place the shaped truffles on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Melt the chocolate in a microwave or double boiler until smooth.
  7. Dip each truffle into the melted chocolate, ensuring they are fully coated, and place them back on the baking sheet.
  8. If desired, sprinkle with decorations before the chocolate sets.
  9. Refrigerate the truffles until the chocolate hardens, about 30 minutes.
  10. Serve and enjoy your Oreo Truffles Valentine’s Hearts!

Notes

  • For a fun twist, try using different flavored Oreos.
  • Store truffles in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to a week.
  • These truffles can be made ahead of time for parties or gifts.
