Description

Delicious Pepperoni Pizza Bombs featuring a golden-brown crust and gooey melted mozzarella paired with zesty pepperoni, perfect for any gathering.


Ingredients

  • 1 package pizza dough
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup pepperoni slices
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce
  • 1 egg (for egg wash)
  • Italian seasoning (optional)
  • Olive oil (for brushing)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to about 1/4 inch thick.
  3. Cut the dough into 3-inch squares.
  4. Add filling to the center of each square: a piece of mozzarella, a few slices of pepperoni, and a spoonful of pizza sauce.
  5. Fold the dough over the filling and pinch the edges to seal.
  6. Place the pizza bombs on a lined baking sheet.
  7. Brush the tops with beaten egg and sprinkle with Italian seasoning if desired.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Serve warm with extra pizza sauce for dipping.

Notes

Make-ahead by stuffing and sealing the bombs, then refrigerate. Bake them right before serving for best results.
