- 1 package (14 oz) Lil’ Smokies sausages
- 1 cup fresh pineapple, diced
- 1–2 jalapeños, sliced (adjust based on heat preference)
- 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
- Fresh cilantro, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Combine the barbecue sauce, honey, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, and smoked paprika in a large mixing bowl.
- Add the Lil’ Smokies sausages, tossing until coated in the sauce.
- Arrange the sausages in a baking dish in a single layer.
- Scatter the diced pineapple and jalapeño slices over the sausages.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, stirring halfway through.
- Remove and let cool for a few minutes. Garnish with cilantro if desired.
Notes
You can assemble these bites a day in advance and keep them in the fridge. For a quicker version, cook them in an air fryer at 375°F (190°C) for 10-12 minutes.
