- 2 lbs pork shoulder
- 1 cup barbecue sauce
- 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, Monterey Jack, or pepper jack)
- 8 slider buns
- 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: coleslaw for topping
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C).
- Season the pork shoulder with smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Place the pork in a roasting pan and cover tightly with foil.
- Bake for 4-5 hours until the pork is tender and pulls apart easily with a fork.
- Remove from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before shredding.
- Mix the shredded pork with barbecue sauce in a large bowl.
- Assemble the sliders with pulled pork on the bottom half of each slider bun.
- Top with shredded cheese and optionally some coleslaw.
- Place the top bun on and serve immediately.
