Delightfully sweet and crunchy Rice Krispie Treats that evoke childhood memories with each bite.
Ingredients

- 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
- 4 cups mini marshmallows
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
Instructions
- Melt the butter in a large saucepan over low heat.
- Add the mini marshmallows to the melted butter and stir until completely melted and smooth.
- Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract, if using.
- Gradually mix in the Rice Krispies cereal, folding them in until evenly coated.
- Press the mixture firmly into a greased 9×13-inch pan using a spatula or wax paper.
- Allow to cool at room temperature for about 30 minutes before cutting into squares.
Notes
These treats can be made a day in advance and stored in an airtight container. Customize with mix-ins like chocolate chips or nuts.
