- 1 lb beef sausage, sliced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 2 cups spinach
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
Instructions
- Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
- Add the chopped onion and minced garlic. Sauté until the onion softens and the garlic releases its fragrant aroma, about 2-3 minutes.
- Introduce the sliced beef sausage to the skillet. Cook until browned and crispy, stirring occasionally for about 5-7 minutes.
- Stir in the sliced bell pepper and the shrimp. Cook until the shrimp turn pink and opaque, approximately 3-5 minutes.
- Pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth, stirring to combine.
- Add the fresh spinach, smoked paprika, Cajun seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Stir well and cook until the sauce thickens and the spinach wilts, about 4-5 minutes.
- Serve hot, garnished as desired, and enjoy every delicious bite.
