Description

Ingredients

  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 lb beef sausage, sliced
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 2 cups spinach
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon Cajun seasoning

Instructions

  1. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
  2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic. Sauté until the onion softens and the garlic releases its fragrant aroma, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. Introduce the sliced beef sausage to the skillet. Cook until browned and crispy, stirring occasionally for about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Stir in the sliced bell pepper and the shrimp. Cook until the shrimp turn pink and opaque, approximately 3-5 minutes.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream and chicken broth, stirring to combine.
  6. Add the fresh spinach, smoked paprika, Cajun seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Stir well and cook until the sauce thickens and the spinach wilts, about 4-5 minutes.
