Steakhouse Potatoes Romanov is a creamy, cheesy potato dish that is perfect for any steak dinner or special occasion.
Ingredients

- 2 pounds of potatoes, peeled and sliced
- 1 cup of heavy cream
- 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup of sour cream
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon of paprika
- 2 tablespoons of chopped fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- In a large bowl, combine the heavy cream, sour cream, garlic, salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Add the sliced potatoes to the cream mixture and stir until well coated.
- Layer half of the potato mixture in a greased baking dish.
- Sprinkle half of the cheddar and Parmesan cheese over the first layer.
- Add the remaining potato mixture on top and finish with the remaining cheese.
- Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15-20 minutes, or until the potatoes are tender and the top is golden brown.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
- For a spicier version, add some diced jalapeños to the potato mixture.
- This dish can be prepared ahead of time and baked just before serving.
- Leftovers can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
