Ingredients

- 2 cups ripe strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 cup water
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Instructions
- Combine the sugar and water in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Stir frequently until the sugar fully dissolves, creating a shimmering syrup.
- Remove from heat and allow the syrup to cool.
- Blend the cooled syrup with hulled strawberries and lemon juice until smooth.
- Pour the mixture into a shallow dish and freeze for about 2 hours.
- Scrape the surface with a fork to create a fluffy texture.
- Serve immediately or keep in the freezer until ready to enjoy.
Notes
For added flavor, consider mixing in slices of banana or diced mango during blending. Serve with fresh mint or crushed pistachios.
