Description

A creamy and cheesy Stuffed Mushroom Dip that combines sautéed mushrooms with a blend of cheeses, perfect for gatherings and cozy nights.


Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or butter
  • 8 ounces mushrooms, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme or parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Sauté the mushrooms in olive oil or butter over medium heat for about 8-10 minutes.
  2. Add minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
  3. Combine softened cream cheese and sour cream, stirring until melted into the mushrooms.
  4. Stir in half of the shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan until smooth.
  5. Top with remaining mozzarella, then bake at 375°F (190°C) for 15-20 minutes until bubbling.
  6. Garnish with fresh thyme or parsley and serve hot with dippers.

Notes

Make-ahead tip: Prepare the dip a day in advance and store in the fridge. Also, consider using an air fryer for a quicker, crisp finish.
